ReplyDeleteI loved reading other students questions and I look forward to seeing more of them. Its also neat to see the way you have chosen to keep yourself and your family healthy. I think these days its easy for a busy mother to get lazy and give there children whatever is "quick" and "easy". I just want to know if you ever miss yummy fish or meats at all??

Amanda, I don't ever miss meat or fish, at all!! Sounds crazy to meat eaters, but really I find it a little repulsive. It's been almost 3 years since I've had meat. If there's ever a time in my life where I actually want to eat meat and I feel like my body needs it, I will certainly consider eating it.
ReplyDeleteHave you ever researched "alkalizing" ? I am a fan of Dr.Robert O. Young and his research on diet and nutrition theory of ph and our bodies.
ReplyDeleteOne of his webpages www.phmiracleliving.com, his wife has written a series of cookbooks, and everything is totally vegetable recipes.
I am a fan of green drinks and I incorporate that into my hydration and my three year olds.
We also juice, veggies, especially alkalizing fruits and veggies.
