Mom's Best: Pink Lining Diaper Bag Giveway!

You know that fun Mom's Best Hot Products Party I went to last week?

I snagged some products to take home with me to review.

Some of those products are from a new, hip, brand, Pink Lining, a company from the UK.

I have over $200 of Pink Lining goodies to give away to some lucky readers.

I'm so excited (I love giving things away, especially when the products are as adorable and functional as these)!

Shown here:
  • Diaper bag that includes padded water resistant changing mat and a convenient plastic zip wet bag (you know, for that inevitable dirty change of clothes from when your baby spit up everywhere AND had a messy diaper? or for wipes, and things of that sort)
  • Mum on the run set (a zipper pouch and changing mat for those times when you don't want to lug around a diaper bag for one diaper) and
  • Wallet, all part of their new Mama et Bebe spring/summer 2012 collection.
This week, I'll be giving away the diaper bag. Yay! I'll be giving away the wallet and the mum on the run set next week, so stay tuned for that.

I have to be honest, when it comes to diaper bags, I have an awful track record. I've never cared too much about having the perfect one. In fact, I always forget to take it with me places, so my purse usually ends up being my default diaper bag.

My biggest complaint about diaper bags is that they are bulky and scream: "I'm a mom," but not always in a good way. I guess what I'm saying is they're not always the most stylish or attractive pieces of a woman's wardrobe.

This is why I like this London-based brand:

(Watch the demo video on their site, you'll love the woman's accent. What can I say, I'm a sucker for Brits.)

This diaper bag is cute (without being too cute, if you know what I mean). Functional (has all the pockets and do-dads I need to store my phone, keys, diapers, snacks, etc.). Sturdy (the fabric is high-quality and rugged). And I like the little touches.

Like the embroidered pockets. I love details.

Aren't they cute?

I tried out the diaper bag for a day.

This weekend we took a road trip up to
SLC and I felt like such a good mom.

Finally, I was organized! I loved all the little pockets for things inside, so things don't get lost in the shuffle. I liked the detachable strap, the front pockets (this is where I put my cell phone). Lightweight, not bulky, it passed my test.

There are even two insulated holders for bottles.

Nice.

(And don't worry, if you're vegan, the straps on the handle aren't leather :) ).

  1. I need this bag! Here's why: I'm currently expecting my second little one, a girl, due in August. My husband and I had planned on having only one child, so when our older daughter turned 2, we gave away all of her baby stuff. Now we've got nearly nothing and have to get it all again. I know, I know, hindsight. In any case, the bag is perfect because my older daughter will also love it (she loves pink) and want to share it with her little sister. That will make my life easier since I still carry somethings for her whenever we go anywhere. One bag + two babies = one happy mom. So pleeeeeease, dear giveaway fairy, how about you let me win this one? ;)

  2. Oh how I need this bag! My current diaper bag has been used through two children and now is serving child number three. Needless to say, it is disgusting. It is stained and the pocket is torn on the side. Sadly, I'm the opposite of you...my diaper bag doubles as my purse, so it is used all of the time. I've thought about buying a new one, but can't justify spending money to do so when we think this will be our last child. The Mom's Best bag would certainly solve all of my diaper bag woes!

  4. Hey, my sister is having a little girl any day now. She has 2 boys and this is her first girl! As such and you'd understand she has a lot of blue boy stuff. I know she'd love this darling diaper bag. Plus she served her mission in Europe and I'm sure she'd love the foreign accents. :) She really needs more girly stuff to take care of her little girl and doesn't have a girl diaper bag as of yet. I know you said to explain why you need it; but the truth is I don't need it because 1) I don't have a girl yet and 2) I'm like you and don't use a diaper bag. But my sister does! :)

  5. I'm having my FIRST girl! After two boys, piles of blues, greens, Legos, transformers, trains, cars, and dirt, I'm finally getting some pink! I think this would be a perfect addition to our newest addition, come July!

  6. Ooooh! This is the diaper bag of my dreams! Seriously! Girly, pink, sooo cute, tons of pockets, high quality, STURDY! Love, love, love it! I suppose I don’t need this diaper bag though. You see… I have the black “similac” one the doctors’ office gave me with my first child. My husband liked that one since it was black & manly so we carried/carry that one around for the past 2.5 years. Although it does the job and is better than carrying a Walmart bag around (which is what I still do occasionally), it’s cheap and dying and to my extreme dismay there are no pockets inside (I, like you, love pockets!). I have one little girl (2.5 yrs) and one little girl on the way (due next month). I have considered (back and forth) purchasing a “normal” diaper bag for this next little girl but have yet to take the plunge and do it. I would feel like one spoiled Momma with this diaper bag and I know my little girls would love it too.( And I would like to see my husband carry this bag around for a change. hee hee ;))

  9. I need this bag! I know, I know. I have a baby boy, so why would I want this bag? I am of the opinion that the diaper bag is for the mama, not the baby, and I can carry around a girly bag, no matter the gender of my baby! The bag we have is called "Diaper Dude" and while I do like it, my husband picked it out because it was "manly." I think we need a "womanly" diaper bag, seeing as I am the one who needs it 99% of the time!

On top of this, I lived in Switzerland for a year, have been to Paris, and LOVE and adore all things Parisian. When (not if) I have a baby girl one day, the theme of her nursery is going to be Paris.

So, as you can see, there is really no better candidate for this bag! :)

  13. This bag would go to good use for the child we are hoping to adopt within the next year or so. We've lost 6 children to miscarriage in the past 5 years, and we've had one full-term pregnancy, our little Eden, who is 4. I guess I see it as something hopeful. :)
