I love the variety of topics and articles. I really liked the minimalist chore chart idea (we really want our kids to be in the habit of doing chores so they feel like we are a family "team").
ReplyDeleteIt also looks like they are featuring a lot of gluten free and vegan recipes than I could use as a template for health recipes. I look forward to spending some more time looking through the site this weekend. It looks like there is a lot to explore!
I also really like the brightness and simplicity of the general layout. I don't know a thing about web design, but I know i like sites that make me feel calm when i look at them, rather than having too many exclamation points, bright colors, clutter etc..

I love give aways so thanks for this chance! On the mom's best, i love the food section. i'm one of those who like to sit down w/ a glass of wine and *read* a cookbook so this is great! Another site to droll over food recipes!
ReplyDeleteI really liked the ease of moving through the site. Lots of really good topics. I am such a foodie I will need to revisit the food section and check out the vegan recipes!I love reading recipes!!
ReplyDeleteI love the DIY for moms. Great projects on the site. I *heart* DIY and don't plan to lose that part of me when I become a mom someday (hopefully soon!)
ReplyDeleteLoved how inspiring a “Real Post on Reality” was under “Balance.” Also, love the quote from L. Tom Perry. I am always striving for balance in mind and action in my life. It’s one of my biggest challenges. I am sort of surprised and happy to see this as a separate heading listed. I will definitely be looking at this one again soon.
ReplyDeleteExcited about a section dedicated to “Parenting.” I really like the minimalist chore chart idea. I have a chore chart but it seems too busy for my 2.5 year old to get interested in at this stage.
Love the “Entertaining” section! I enjoyed all the pictures and details of throwing a cute 1st birthday party without spending a ton of cash. Very interested in throwing parties on a tight budget. I look forward to seeing more in this section.
Also love the “Food” section! Cause I love food! The meals look healthy and delicious! I look forward to seeing more of your food creations here. More vegan options with no oil. (I sautéed my veggies in water yesterday instead of oil and couldn’t tell a difference. I didn’t tell my husband & he didn’t even notice!!).
I clicked on several headings like “Pregnancy”, “On the Go”, and “Destination Nursery” but there were not any posts yet on two of them and the other was scheduled to arrive April 30th (which is a cute way to announce the start of that section of the site). So I am excited to see this site grow and expand in the future!
I like the fashion and design section - definitely great photos too!

I loved the food section. I also loved reading all about the different contributors, front page bottom. I thought the "popular links" on the front page really caught my attention and made me curious to read what was going on within the site.
ReplyDeleteThe variety on the new website is astounding! I am planning on sitting down next naptime and going over it in much more detail. It's nice to see that other Moms live a similar lifestyle to mine (so unusual around here!).
